Refunds & Cancellations

Madebyreko Studios (“we,” “us,” “our”) understand that plans can change. Here’s how our refund and cancellation policy works:

These terms apply to all services offered by MADEBYREKO STUDIO unless specifically noted otherwise in the service-specific sections below.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit, typically 50% of the estimated project cost, is required before the commencement of any project. This deposit secures your booking and allows us to allocate resources to your project.
Cancellation Before Work Commences: If you cancel your project before any work has commenced by MADEBYREKO STUDIO, you will receive a full refund of any payments made, including the initial deposit.
Cancellation After Work Commences: Once work on the project has commenced, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Refunds for Work Commenced: If you cancel a project after work has commenced and you have paid more than the 50% deposit, refunds for the amount exceeding the deposit will be handled on a case-by-case basis. We will assess the amount of work completed at the time of cancellation to determine if any partial refund or credit towards future services is possible.
Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.

Due to the nature of intellectual property and licensing, the following specific terms apply to Music Production Licenses:

Non-Exclusive Licenses: Payments for Non-Exclusive Licenses are non-refundable.
Exclusive Licenses: Payments for Exclusive Licenses are non-refundable due to the exclusive rights granted to the client upon purchase.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Please submit your request via email or through our designated contact form on our website.
Your request should include your project name, invoice number, and a brief explanation for the cancellation.
